Moving Heart Puzzle

Featured: Moving Heart Puzzle

I'm afraid since much of the information was in another language I'm not clear on all the artist info, but isn't it amazing? Total intricacy of construction. It's also a little Tim Burton-ey, I feel.

Possibly the Coolest Crucifix I've Ever Seen... And I Went to Catholic School.

Featured Piece: "Crucifix" by Nymphenburg Porzellan

Just gorgeous. I really love the juxtaposition of the dark wood with the porcelain, and the punk in me likes the skull at the bottom... it's actually fitting when you consider that Golgotha, the name of the place where Jesus was crucified, is the Aramaic word for "skull." Agh, that's my catechism acting up...

Nymphenburg is one of the oldest and most revered art and design manufacturers in the world. Founded in 1747 by Elector Max the III of Bavaria and located since 1761 on the northern lane at the Nymphenburg Palace, they have now had over 250 years of uninterrupted porcelain production. They represent the highest standard in porcelain, hand-crafting every item and even producing their white gold themselves in the Nymphenburg mill. Nymphenburg's crucifix sculpture is a beautiful, dark, and awe-inspiring porcelain rendering of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. - from Unicahome.com
